The NIOSH Approved N95
You can easily breath through this mask. It comes in both black and white colors. Because it is made in the USA, and has "NIOSH" on it, it must meet CDC standards so you are protected. Get yours now just in case someone gets sick or hospitalized. You will be protected. And if you travel those airplanes, definitely wear this one. Stay safe.
This is the one I have and all my children have. I do not understand why more people do not attach this simple device to their toilets to save money, comfort and time. It pays for itself in toilet paper in a month. My only worry is how will my grandchildren know what to do when they go off to kindergarten and there's no bidet in the school. I guess their parents will have to teach them to use toilet paper afterall. Thousands of seniors and caregivers have these.
Ageism - Healthy Aging Attitudes
I loved how this book brings out our voice. As we age, we are not sitting around waiting to die. We are not burdens on our friends, family, or even the government. We are vibrant, still alive and very wise. Find your power and inspiration in this incredibly well-written book.
Strong Women Stay Young - Healthy Aging
I've been reading and re-reading this book for years. I've recommended it to thousands of patients. I would watch as my 98-year old mom did her exercises from the chair and even the recliner. This book shows us how to stay strong and keep those muscles from fading no matter whether we are chair-bound or running up Mt. Hood.
The Rand-McNally Map
I love having a map, just in case...There are times when my internet isn't working and there is no need to panic. I keep this handy and I know that if I doubt the GPS, this is going to get us here. We wish we had it when the GPS took up 2 hours out of our way to get into Glacier National Park. We were really only 15 minutes away from the front entrance. Grrr. Enough said!
Being Mortal - Life Balanced
This is an incredible book to read in a weekend. It's got amazing stories and insights into how we can balance our lives as we make some pretty tough decisions. It is definitely a book all caregivers should read as it gives us an understanding of what's important to those who will someday leave us.
